Leading up to the election, we have worked and briefed several of the candidates, including their top aides, staff, and possible cabinet picks several times in the last several months and will continue to do so when approached. Most recently, Donald Trump and his policy team have taken advantage of Heritage’s published resources:

• Heritage developed and published a list of potential Supreme Court nominees in March. Five of our recommendations were included on Donald Trump’s list of potential nominees.

• Trump’s team has drawn from our Blueprint for Transition, which we issued in July for all presidential candidates. The Blueprint explains what the next president must do after the election to prepare for a successful first term that advances conservative ideas.

In the time left leading up to the election, we will continue to engage and influence issues dominating the campaigns as much as legally possible.

And we are prepared to fight strategically for conservative victories in Washington no matter which candidate wins this November. And we simply can’t do this work without you. Thank you for your leadership and support.
