Should the GOP confirm Merrick Garland as the SCOTUS nominee?

One of the most divisive elections in our recent history is finally over. And now the focus is back on the future of the Supreme Court. And we want to hear from you – do you believe the GOP confirm Merrick Garland as the SCOTUS nominee?

A Garland confirmation would dramatically reshape the highest court in the land. For example, a Supreme Court with Garland would likely overturn District of Columbia v. Heller (2008), which confirmed the Second Amendment affirms an individual’s right to keep and bear arms. The four liberal judges presently on the court opposed the ruling and boldly stated “…there is no untouchable constitutional right guaranteed by the Second Amendment to keep loaded handguns.”  Scalia was often the deciding vote in critically important cases similar to this one. What do you think? Should the GOP confirm Garland today?
