Illegal Immigration Voting Survey

"*" indicates required fields

Please rank from 1-5 the following government departments and agencies on which should receive the most significant budget cuts first (1 being highest priority, 5 being lowest priority).

1. America is being invaded by illegal aliens.
2. The Left has deliberately created the current border crisis.
3. Leftists want to give non-citizens the right to vote.
4. Congress must do more to secure America’s borders.
5. Strict state and federal laws that are enforced are needed to stop voter fraud.

SECTION 2 – YOUR VIEWS ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: Please answer the following questions to help Heritage document citizen opinion on illegal immigration in your state and local community.

1. The number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. is now 16.8 million. Many experts fear that the actual number of illegal immigrants is much higher. Do you believe illegal immigration has negatively impacted your state?
2. The White House and the radical Left are pushing amnesty for illegal immigrants, even though Americans consistently voice strong support for border security. Are you opposed to amnesty for illegal immigrants?
3. Heritage analysis shows that the government would have to immediately raise taxes by $1.29 trillion to cover the cost of amnesty for illegal immigrants. Should Congress oppose amnesty?
4. Overall, what are your biggest concerns about current high levels of illegal immigration? (Please check all that apply.)
5. Do you support completion of the border wall that is proven effective in deterring illegal immigration?
6. Do you believe that border states should be allowed to take sensible measures (such as the river barriers and drone surveillance enacted by Texas) to deny entry to illegal immigrants?
7. Do you support plans by the Left to give non-citizens full access to free health care, free housing, free welfare benefits, and additional subsidies at taxpayer expense?

SECTION 3 – YOUR VIEWS ON SECURE ELECTIONS: Please answer the questions below to help Heritage determine citizens’ views on how illegal immigration threatens election integrity.

1. Do you agree that high levels of illegal immigration will lead to illegal voting?
2. Recent polling shows that a growing number of Americans no longer trust our elections to be fair and honest. Have you lost trust in this country’s electoral system?
3. In April Heritage’s Oversight Project uncovered flyers found at a Mexican migrant camp that encouraged illegal aliens to vote for the current Administration. Are you concerned that open-borders groups are encouraging illegal aliens to vote?
4. Heritage’s Election Fraud Database documents over 1,500 proven instances of voter fraud across the country, including ineligible voting, fraudulent absentee ballots, illegal “assistance” at the polls, false registrations, and more. Do you believe it’s important to carefully track specific instances of voter fraud, to show the scope of this problem?
5. Do you agree that all voters should be required to present photographic identification issued by the federal, state, local, or tribal government when voting?
6. Do you believe states should require that all individuals who register to vote must provide documentation establishing that they are U.S. citizens?
7. Heritage believes that individuals who register to vote by mail, should be required to appear in person the first time they vote to verify their identity and ensure they comply with federal and state laws. Do you agree that this is a sensible requirement?
8. Would you like to see all states conduct regular audits to remove ineligible voters from voter rolls?
